India in Top 3 countries worldwide for Global Broadband Growth: Report

Broadband Forum predicts top ten position is coming close


India’s phenomenal growth in broadband in 2010 – second only to China and the United States – is leading towards the country soon becoming one of the top ten users of broadband in the world. That is the message delivered at the recent Convergence India event in New Delhi by Broadband Forum Chief Executive Officer Robin Mersh.

India added more than 2.5 million new lines of broadband last year and now stands at No13 in the world – having been barely in the top 50 of broadband countries just six years ago. “India has been steadily climbing the rankings in terms of broadband subscribers for the last 6 years. It has gone from 50th to 13th in only 6 years and will be knocking on the door of the top 10 within a year or two,” says Oliver Johnson, chief analyst with Point Topic.

the worst in service. the worst in connectivity. if there is an option to upload images. i would have upload the images of print screen i captured. N number of times disconnection with idiotic reasons. when i am speaking to my client in UAE and showing presentation, it disconnects. what my situation would be. when i am trading my stock online it disconnects, imagine!!
believe me there is no single day or single hour in a day where there service is without my complaint.
Even now This comment is made with my reliance connection.

NEVER GO TO YOU BROADBAND. Go to any other as per your wish.

Prevention is better that cure

terrible service from Pune office of youtelecom..

It is a pathetic situation trying to deal with youtelecom service people.i sorely regret having ever taken this service...pay almost 14,000 rs for 4mbps and never get a speed of more than 0.5mbps...complete cheating and looting public.....this company should close down immediately but first refund the money taken ...no..cheated from unsuspecting public.
There is never a feedbackcall...i have been chasing two issues for last 2 months and there is no resolution till now...
THE WORST EVER BROADBAND SERVICE PROVIDER IN INDIA...ALL PLEASE BE AWARE...AND BEWARE ALSO FROM THEIR CHEATING MARKETING EXECUTIVES

there is JUST NO USE in doing that...i have been doing it for last 2 months...till right now my days have not been updated..this is pathetic service..and seriously do you expect your customers to check speed everyday...is that the credibility of your company????

please keep tabs on your marketing people...they are misguiding the customers...oe else the very least you can do is to make good on the empty promises they make...

Anyway for whatever it is worth..the coount is 94649 and 290 odd days were to be credited to it...your speed is the worst in India btw...

if you cannot do it atleast have the decency to admit it and call me to inform...but obviously that is too much to expect from a company like youtelecom....

Do you REALLY THINK that your customers are fools ??

After sending me atleast 10 stupid smses that my problem had been resolved.... I check my speed and find it is 0.8Mbps when it should be 4.0Mbps.
The days are STILL NOT CREDITED !!

Neither has complaint number 2011082508670 nor 2011082609599 been resolved....

Do I now have to take a day's leave from my work and patients and come to your office to make you people understand the situation..??

Does You Broadband have atleast ONE senior officer or executive of decent calibre and integrity who a customer can meet.. If there is such a person existing in your company please forward the telephone number or email address...OTHERWISE kindly arrange to REFUND my amount of @ Rs.13,365..as I do not wish to continue this anymore..I have NEVER got WHAT I PAID FOR..

Im facing serious lag issues speed problem and download speed is ranging from 30-70 my plan is UNLTD 1MBPS


this speed problem i see last 3 month
and i Complaint lots of time but problom was not solved.
pls dnt but youtelecome broadband

Skyriver communication is a leading business broadband service provider. We suggest anyone that is facing downtown issue or high fluctuation should change the provider. There are several providers that provide lag free services, do some research and go with them.

I THINK ITS FALSE NEWS OR THEY ARE NOT SHOWING RIGHT DATA OF SERVICE WHOM THEY ARE SHOWING DETAILS FOR GETTING NUMBER LIKE TOP 3. IF ITS LIKE THAT THEN OTHER COMPANIES SHOULD BE TOP 1 IF ITS IN TOP 3

I have emailed more then 30 from last 9 months.

In April 2015 raised 15~18 complains but I am not getting technical support.

If you can check in last 7 months more then 50 complain raise.

I FEEL YOU BROARDBAND DO NOT HAVE VALUE OF CUSTOMER. I AM USING FROM LAST 5 YEARS BUT THEY ARE TREATING LIKE I AM FOOL.(SPECIALLY TECHNICAL TEAM)

I HAVE PROOF THAT 30 MINS OF ISSUE TECHNICAL TEAM TOOK 20-24 HOURS. I ALSO PROVIDED TO AHMEDABAD OFFICE MANAGEMENT STILL NO ACTION.

TECHNICAL TEAM JUST CLOSE THE COMPLAIN WITHOUT CHECKING.

AS PER POLICY OF THE COMPANY BEFORE CLOSE THE COMPLAIN NEED ACKNOWLEDGEMENT VIA CALL.

PLEASE CHECK IN MY CASE FROM LAST 9 MONTHS ANY OF THE PERSON GIVE THAT DETAILS EVEN IF I HAVE MENTIONED IN THE TICKETS.

Even I didn't get credit and if I use 1 hour in a day then person say you are not eligible for credit. So I have paid money to use just 1 hour ?

I HAVE EMAILED MR. SAMIR PATHAK. HE IS VERY USEFUL PERSON AND SOLUTION ORIENTED BUT THE TECHNICAL SOLVE IF HE SAID AND SECOND DAY SAME ISSUE CAME.

IN A MONTH 6-7 DAYS THERE IS ISSUE OF NODE FAILURE SO IF NODE IS NOT ABLE TO TAKE MUCH LOAD THE EXTEND THE STRUCTURE OR RESTRICT NUMBER OF USERS.

IN CUSTOMER EMAIL ID NOONE IS GIVE REPLIED AS I HAD ASKED THEY JUST WRITE COMPANY'S PRE DEFINE FORMATTED EMAIL.

DO YOU THINK ITS PROPER WAY TO GIVE SUPPORT.

I THINK THERE IS STRATEGY OF TECHNICAL TEAM THAT GIVE TROUBLE TO CUSTOMER SO HE WILL CANCEL THE CONNECTION.

HOPE HERE I WILL GET ANY RESOLUTION AND OTHER PEOPLE ALSO READ AND THINK ABOUT YOU BROADBAND.
